Dogs must have current vaccinations against Distemper, Parvovirus, Para Influenza and Kennel Cough, for their stay at Taupo Pet Lodge (Note a 10 day stand down period is required after administration of any type of vaccination). Leptospirosis is optional for boarding. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure your pets’ vaccinations are all up to date for the duration of their stay and any vaccination has been administered 10 days prior to arrival, also please ensure your pet has been treated for internal and external parasites prior to boarding. Refusal of your pets stay often offends as you are still liable to pay the full booking fee. We welcome your pet into ‘Taupo Pet Lodge’ with the knowledge that they will enjoy their stay. If your pet requires veterinary attention, we reserve the right to obtain such attention at the owners / agent’s expense, although all care and professional management will be given to your pet. We DO NOT accept any responsibility or liability for illness, injury, or loss of any animal in our care, or their belongings whatsoever. We also DO NOT accept any responsibility, liability or financial loss for 1.) damage to your property or vehicle whilst on our premises 2.) confirmed bookings we are forced to cancel due to Natural Disasters or Infectious Diseases (animal or human). Note: damaged caused to our property through your neglect or destructive behaviour from your pet you will be liable for all associated costs. All accounts must be paid in full on drop off or pick up, we do not allow pet collection unless the account is paid in full, therefore your pet will need to stay in boarding until payment has been made in full including any extra charges. We take this opportunity to advise that our business is a member of Baycorp, and we advise that should a payment default occur under your agreement then the information will be listed with Baycorp. Once listed the information remains on file until any defaults are rectified. Should a default occur all collection costs associated with Baycorp collection will be at the owners / agent’s expense.
